Signature Tests and Panels By Focus
ANA TestingManhattan Labs is one of the progressive reference laboratories offering ANA screening by IFA utilizing HEp-2 cells. Nova Lite HEp-2® cells are optimized to display proteins in the correct conformational structure to help ensure that even hard to identify patterns are detected. Barcoded slides assist in enabling seamless laboratory workflow by tracking patient data from sample preparation to result. This test allows for the detection of many autoimmune diseases.
Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APS)APS Testing
According to the APS diagnostic criteria, both Anticardiolipin (ACA) and Beta-2 Glycoprotein 1 (B2GP1) IgG and/or IgM are necessary to aid in the diagnosis of APS. In addition to offering both the QUANTA Lite ACA and QUANTA Lite B2GP1 assays of the IgG and IgM isotype, Manhattan Labs offers the QUANTA Lite ACA and B2GP1 IgA tests. In cases of secondary APS, IgA antibodies are more prevalent, especially in the African American population. APS is often a complex disease to accurately diagnose. By offering a comprehensive panel of assays, a clearer clinical picture can be obtained.
